Albuquerque Bikeways and Trails Master Plan In Progress
Public Survey Closed
The public survey has now been closed. Thanks for everyone that took the time to share there thoughts about cycling and trail use in Albuquerque. We will be using this input over the next few months to create a proposed bikeway and trail network for the city. If you have additional questions or comments, please share them with us through the web form located on the "Contact Us" tab.
Public Meeting Update
Public meetings were held on May 18 - 20. We had a great turnout and gathered feedback on a number of topics including education and encouragement initiatives, facility improvement recommendations, network gaps as well as general recommendations. If you attended the meetings and have additional comments, or wanted to attend but did not have a chance, please submit feedback via the comment form on the "Contact Us" page.
Project Basics
Albuquerque intends to become known as a city where people come to bike. The City has embraced the bicycle for transportation and recreation. In the last several years they have demonstrated their commitment to cyclists by adding miles to the on- street system while expanding the first rate system of multi-use trails.
The next step in the process is to develop an updated bikeways and trails master plan. In the coming months, please come back and visit this site often for project updates and opportunities to be involved with the project. This is your city and your plan!
